Product Decomposition
Three of my fellow classmates and I tore-down a Handheld sewing machine! Included in the teardown was:
- Analysis of the design of the product
- Observations of unbiased users
- Creation of a task analysis based on the observations
- Disassembly of the product
- Product decomposition documentation
- Product function structure
- Assembled SolidWorks Model with exploded view
My teammates were wonderful during the entire process, and we collaborated very well to finish the project in a timely manner. I, myself, worked on every step of this process, and worked on the SolidWorks assembly alone.
